Viewing Employee Request Details
You can view the complete details of an employee request by using the Request Details window. This window is read-only; you cannot make changes to request information using this window. For information on processing requests, see Managing Requests.
Complete the following steps to view employee request details:
- From the Schedule menu, select Administer Requests. This opens the Administer Requests page.
- Move to the request date using the date menu (if necessary).
- Right-click the request and select Details. The Request Details window opens.
The Request Details window displays the following information. Some items, such as Notes, are optional and may be left blank.
- Employee: Name of employee making the request
- Date Submitted: Date employee entered request
- Start Date: Date the request period begins
- End Date: Date the request period ends
- Assignment: Name of the requested assignment
- Task: Name of the requested task
- Skill: Name of the requested task required skill
- Action: Either Request (to be assigned), or Block (to not be assigned).
- Process Date: Date the request was processed by a manager or scheduler
- Approved By: Name of the person who processed the request
- Recurrence: How often this request occurs, if applicable, such as Weekly or Monthly. If the request is not recurring, this option displays None.
- Status: Approved, Pending, Wait Listed, or Denied. Note that the Wait Listed status only displays if you have enabled the Wait List Request setting.
- Request Limits: If your profile has the Wait List feature enabled, and the request you are viewing has a Wait Listed status, this box displays the name or names of the Request Limits that are preventing the request from having a status of Pending or Approved.
- Note to Scheduler: Note to scheduler entered by the employee.
- Note from Scheduler: Note to employee entered by the scheduler.
