Accessing Optional Applications
Cerner Corporation provides a variety of optional applications your organization can purchase to expand the capabilities of the Staff Manager solution. Current optional applications include:
- Outcomes-Driven Acuity: This application extends the capabilities of Staff Manager by automating our outcomes-driven methodology for patient acuity. Staff Manager Acuity focuses on each patient’s progress (or lack of progress) toward meeting expected outcomes, and the staffing levels and skills needed to adhere to and optimize each patient’s progress through the health care organization.
- Demand Manager: This optional application extends the capabilities of Staff Manager through more precise Demand Management, measuring, predicting, and tracking patient demand for services as the driver for resource deployment decisions, especially staffing.
- Assignment Manager: Cerner Clairvia developed Assignment Manager to automate the assignment of caregivers to patients, personnel to departments, and communication devices to personnel. It also links assignments and communication devices in Staff Manager to CareAware iBus Services based on iBus configuration settings for the Facility. In addition, the Assignment Manager application integrates the data captured by Staff Manager scheduling and Demand Manager, as well as Outcomes-Driven Acuity.
- External Resource Management (ERM) Interface: The ERM interface delivers an integrated nurse scheduling and temporary nurse staffing solution to the health care industry. This solution enables facilities to manage their nurse scheduling and contract nursing needs from one central location, improving and automating organization business processes while eliminating work overlap and disorganized communication.
For you to access optional applications, you must meet the following security criteria:
