Employee Access to Reports

Normally, only managers can run reports, but employees can run reports if they belong to a report security group. Report users have an extra menu called Reports. Using this menu, they can view and print reports on any profile for which they have security access.

Managers should follow these steps to give an employee report access.

  1. In Staff Manager Administrator, create a new security group to view reports in the profile. Add the new report users to the Group Members tab.
  2. Add the new security group to the groups granted access to the profile on the Group Permissions tab.
  3. With the new security group selected, click Set Permissions.
  4. On the Set Interface Permissions window, select Report in the interface column, and click Full.
  5. Click OK.
